MISSION STATEMENT
To enhance the quality and availability of childcare for children with special needs.
PROGRAM GOALS
The Special Needs Childcare Program (SNCC) helps families of children with special needs by increasing the capacity for inclusive childcare. SNCC works with childcare professionals to enhance skill and knowledge levels through educational instruction.
We utilize a team approach to caring for children with special needs, we believe in collaborating across organizations to maximize services for each child.
FAMILY SERVICES
Families receive training for their chosen childcare provider, case management services, free educational classes and links to community resources.
CHILDCARE PROVIDER SERVICES
Onsite technical assistance is provided from qualified professionals from the community, based on the family's eligibility. Childcare providers are encouraged to attend classes focused on special needs topics and receive continuing education credit.
