Leisure Access Scholarships Available (See Below)

The Countywide Recreation Calendar is a service provided by the Milwaukee County Office for Persons with Disabilities for residents with disabilities. Our goal is to encourage people with disabilities to participate in any of the multitude of recreational activities throughout our community but we recognize that individuals sometimes prefer to access events that are designed specifically for their needs.

We accept information from service organizations and groups who provide recreational opportunities and have appropriate staffing, venues and equipment to accommodate people with disabilities. This calendar is provided by Milwaukee County as a service and for informational purposes only. The sponsoring agencies are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for the implementation of the events.

If you need special accommodations, you should contact the sponsoring agency at least 72 hours before the event. We welcome your comments and suggestions about this calendar. Please contact Bridget Bannon at 414-278-3938 or E-mail Bridget.

Scholarships - The Therapeutic Recreation Association of Greater Milwaukee has a limited number of scholarships available for people wishing to participate in leisure and recreational activities.
