Custody/Home Studies

 A custody or home study is started by a court order in an existing case. Upon receipt of such an order, an independent evaluator is chosen to conduct such a study on behalf of the court.

Generally these professional studies investigate and/or evaluate the home environment and the qualifications of the parents involved in the custody/placement dispute.

The fee for this service is $300.00 which includes interviews and a written report to the court. There are additional charges if the evaluator is called to testify in a court proceeding.
