Gulliver's Travels - Model Railroad Show  
G-scale trains travel through the land of Lilliputians to entertain children of all ages. Small and miniature plants create the landscape. Special exhibits and demonstrations. Train hobbyists will be on hand to answer your questions.

Enjoy a candle-lit stroll through the Tropical Dome as romantic music plays. Sip fine wine and savor chocolate desserts. Special Event Admission. M arch 16, 2008, noon–5 p.m.


St. Patrick's Family Day at the Domes
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at this family-focused special event. Enjoy live Irish music, Irish set dancing, and learn about the culture and crafts of Ireland. Regular Admission and food & beverage fees.

Learn about "green" programs. Pick up a conservation tip or two, and learn more about "green" products. Learn how you can help protect the environment.

Mother's Day
Treat your mother or grandmother to a visit to the Conservatory and use the blossoming backdrop of "Appalachian Springtime" for family photos. Enjoy a cup of tea (or coffee) and something sweet to celebrate the day. Nominal fee for food and beverages.

Father's Day "Grill Off"
Sample grilled specialties from Milwaukee's finest restaurants and the Wisconsin BBQ Association. Vote for your favorite BBQ! Also enjoy music and scale-boating demonstrations.
2008 Fee: Dads accompanied by kids get in FREE; regular admission for all others
Fee for Grilled Samples: Adults (age 18 & up) $6; Kids (age 6 through 17) $3

Ikebana Show – Japanese flower arranging
Discover the world of Ikebana. The 2007 theme was "Bamboo: A Mysterious Grass." The show begins at noon.

Asian Culture Fest
Celebrate the diverse Asian culture with food, crafts, and hands-on cultural activities. Shop in "mini" Asia to support Fair Trade and traditional heritage.
