Created as an advisory body in July 2003 by the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors [File No. 02-503(a)(m)] to establish priorities, allocation and direction of IT resources and overall funding. The committee will focus the application of technology on Milwaukee County's strategic goals, assist IMSD in developing recommendations to the County Executive and the County Board for approval, and enlist departmental business managers to assist in implementing technology projects and assess the potential for internal business improvements.
The Committee will identify business barriers or matters regarding business policies and strategies for using enterprise technology to achieve enterprise business goals.
