Key Benefits

Labor Relations negotiates all collateral agreements and overall labor contracts on behalf of Milwaukee County with the 8 different unions, which represent approximately 90% of Milwaukee County's workforce.  Labor Relations is responsible for the day-to-day contract maintenance of the various labor agreements, and conducts second or third step grievance hearings.  Labor Relations provides training to managers regarding the grievance process, discipline, and overall contract maintenance and interpretation.
