On March 11, 2009, Supervisor Larson hosted a special presentation from David Wetzel, a prominent British transit consultant and the managing director for Transforming Communities, who has lead many successful "Land Value" campaigns around the world. He led an insightful discussion at the Milwaukee County Courthouse and offered his unique insight into developing market driven public transportation funding. The discussion was timely, considering that unless dedicated funding is secured, the Milwaukee County Transit System will face cuts of up to 33% next year.
