Healthy Living At Milwaukee County Senior Centers

The Milwaukee County Department on Aging, Therapy Plus of WI, Interfaith Older Adult Services, MPS Recreation and UWM-Department of Human Movement Sciences have teamed up to help elder adults manage chronic health conditions, improve strength & flexibility, and remain living independently for as long as possible. 

The program is called WellnessWorks and it is being made available at Healthy Living Centers in senior centers  located throughout Milwaukee County.
At a WellnessWorks Helathy Living Center Seniors can get FREE:

• functional and fitness assessments
• information about chronic conditions self management and fall prevention programs
• supervised exercise in senior friendly fitness centers
• consultation with licensedphysical and/or occupational therapists
• community outreach social workers

and

• referrals to physical and/or occupational therapy services that are provided on-site

Healthy Living Centers are located in these Senior Centers:

• Washington Park
• Clinton Rose
• Wilson Park
• O.A.S.I.S
